Kano Pillars Football Club confirmed that eight players will leave the club after their contracts expired at the end of the 2025/2026 season.
The announcement was issued by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate on Monday, stating that the players officially departed once their deals concluded.
The players affected are Muhammad Galadima, Ugochukwu Gabriel, Zahraddeen Bello, Williams Ayuba, Bernard Ovoke, Christian Izuchukwu, Sudais Ali Baba, and Aliyu Yakubu.
In its statement, the club thanked the players for their contributions, describing their service as valuable to the “Sai Masu Gida” family.
“We wish to announce that the contracts of the following players have officially expired at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 football season,” the club said.
The club also expressed gratitude for the players’ commitment and professionalism while representing Kano Pillars FC in domestic competitions.
“We express our sincere appreciation to the players for their commitment, professionalism and contributions during their time with Sai Masu Gida,” the statement added.
Kano Pillars FC further wished the departing players success in their future careers, noting that they will always remain part of the club’s history.
“On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff and supporters of Sai Masu Gida, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of them and wish them success in the next chapter of their respective careers,” the club said.
“Their efforts and services to the club will always be appreciated, and they will remain valued members of the Kano Pillars FC family.”
The club concluded by thanking them once again and wishing them well in their future endeavours.
