Justice Crack explains his arrest and the impact on his life.

Activist and social commentator Justice Chidiebere, better known as JusticeCrack, has claimed that officials from the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) abducted him while posing as officers of the Department of State Services (DSS).

He made the allegation in a post on X on Tuesday, saying he endured inhumane treatment while detained.

According to JusticeCrack, he was blindfolded and handcuffed for three days, exposed to the scorching sun during the day and locked in a freezing room at night.

He added that the intervention of Nigerians demanding answers about his whereabouts prevented him from disappearing without a trace.

Because the case is still before the court, he said he could not disclose all details publicly.

“JusticeCrack has never been cracked and will never be cracked. I was abducted by the DIA, who disguised themselves as DSS officers when they came to arrest me,” he wrote.
“It was only after Nigerians started speaking out and demanding answers that they eventually took me to the DSS. Their intention was to make me disappear, and if Nigerians had not intervened, I might have been gone forever.”
“After three days of inhumane treatment, it is important for me to state that I was blindfolded and handcuffed throughout those three days. During the day, I was kept under the scorching sun, and at night, I was locked in a freezing cold room.”
“Because this matter is still in court, I am limited in what I can say for now. However, the truth is that it was the DIA that abducted me and took me to the CIC. I only became aware of this after I was transferred to the DSS, where it was revealed to me.”
“Justice can never be cracked,” he added.

DAILY POST reports that Chidiebere’s ordeal began in late April 2026 when his family reported him missing after he had dropped his child off at school in Abuja.

Following public outrage and accusations of enforced disappearance, the Nigerian Army confirmed on May 2 that he was in military custody.

The army said he was arrested over viral videos and posts in which frontline soldiers complained about inadequate feeding and poor welfare conditions, which authorities described as acts bordering on subversion and incitement of military personnel.

He was later handed over to civil authorities and arraigned by the DSS before the Federal High Court in Abuja on a three‑count charge involving cybercrime and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.

JusticeCrack was granted ₦5 million bail on May 18, 2026, by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik after initially being remanded in DSS custody.
