Phyna, the former winner of the reality show Big Brother Naija, has accused the popular Nigerian influencer VeryDarkMan of orchestrating a campaign to turn the public against her after she declined his sexual advance.
She made the allegation on Sunday in a series of posts on X, as the online dispute between the two continues.
According to the Daily Post, Phyna had approached VeryDarkMan in 2025 to help secure justice for her late younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was struck by a Dangote Cement truck in Edo State.
After VeryDarkMan became involved, Phyna’s anger prompted Dangote Cement to pledge responsibility for the victim’s medical care.
A few days later, VeryDarkMan withdrew from the case, asserting that Phyna had negotiated with the company without his knowledge.
Phyna denied those claims and said that VeryDarkMan had tried to manipulate the public opinion about her sister’s case, blocking her efforts and turning people against her.
During the weekend, Phyna revealed that VeryDarkMan had made sexual advances toward her, which she rejected. She shared alleged chat excerpts and declared that she would never forgive him.
“VeryDarkMan came out to say the opposite of what happened. I can never forgive him because he turned me into a bad person over my sister’s case. He is someone I held in high esteem, but he switched up on me. Claiming I requested N1 billion from Dangote,” she said.
“I was shocked because such a conversation never happened. Maybe he started holding grudges against me because he said he wanted to sleep with me and I didn’t accept,” she added.
