Getafe president Ángel Torres has said that the club is open to selling attacking midfielder Chrisantus Uche, according to the DAILY POST.

Uche spent the previous season on loan at Premier League side Crystal Palace.

The 23‑year‑old failed to persuade Palace to sign him permanently and is set to return to Getafe at the end of the month.

During his spell at the Eagles, Uche appeared in 14 league matches without scoring or providing an assist.

He did, however, find the back of the net twice in four games in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Torres said the club would keep Uche but would not hesitate to sell him if a suitable offer came in.

“Uche has a contract with Palace until the 30th, so we can’t do anything. He doesn’t mind coming back, and the coach wants him. If there’s an offer and we agree on it, we’ll sell him,” Torres told.
