Gerrard Criticises Arsenal’s Eze After PSG Penalty in UCL Match

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard criticized Arsenal striker Eberechi Eze for what he called “nonsense” after the Gunners lost the Champions League final to Paris Saint‑Germain on Saturday.

Arsenal were defeated in the Champions League final in Budapest.

Eze and Gabriel missed their penalty kicks as Luis Enrique’s side were crowned champions.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Gerrard, who was not impressed, said of Eze’s penalty: “Penalties are hard enough. Think about the magnitude of the game, the stadium, the atmosphere, it’s hard enough without any of that nonsense. Put your foot through it, back your technique.”
