Galatasaray, the reigning champions of the Turkish Super Lig, have turned their attention to Nicolo Tresoldi, a centre‑forward who holds dual nationality and currently plays for Club Brugge. The Belgian side is reportedly asking for a €40 million fee.
Local reports from Turkey, including coverage by Alanya Postası, suggest that the Yellow‑Reds are seriously considering the acquisition of the highly‑rated striker, who has attracted interest from several major European clubs.
With uncertainty clouding the future of Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray’s leadership is assessing alternative attacking options in preparation for the next season.
Despite the speculation, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbük and manager Okan Buruk have dismissed rumors that Osimhen could leave the club. They stated that the former African Footballer of the Year is not for sale, even though clubs such as Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Chelsea have shown interest.
Osimhen’s decision to withdraw from the Nigerian squad for the June international fixtures against Poland and Portugal has added to the ambiguity surrounding his club future.
During the 2025‑2026 campaign, Tresoldi appeared in 58 competitive matches for Club Brugge, scoring 23 goals and providing nine assists.
The Cagliari native is eligible to play for both Germany and Italy. He is currently provisionally cap‑tied to Italy, having featured in competitive matches for their U19 and U21 sides.
