Galatasaray asks Osimhen to help chase Lookman

Galatasaray has requested striker Victor Osimhen to use his influence to persuade fellow Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman to join the Istanbul club this summer.

According to Fotomac, the Turkish champions are eager to acquire Lookman from Atlético Madrid.

The 28‑year‑old joined LaLiga in the January transfer window for a fee of €35 million.

Since arriving, Lookman has become one of the club’s standout performers, recording five goals and four assists in 24 appearances.

Galatasaray’s choice to enlist Osimhen as an informal intermediary underscores the difficulty of securing the transfer.

Atlético have already lost Antoine Griezmann, and the future of Julian Álvarez and Alexander Sørloth remains uncertain, making the club reluctant to approve another high‑profile exit.
