Former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has identified France and Spain as the two “strongest teams” that could win the World Cup.
Giroud made the comment while discussing the favourite team to lift the trophy this year.
“For me, the two strongest teams are France and Spain,” Giroud said, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“But will they meet each other in the final or before? That will be the question.”
France is drawn in Group I, where it will play Senegal, Norway and Iraq.
Spain is in Group H and will face Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.
