The Alema of Warri Kingdom, High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, told a Warri event that First Lady Remi Tinubu should concentrate on domestic duties rather than meddling in Itsekiri matters.

He said the First Lady has no role in the presidency.

Chief Uduaghan criticized Remi Tinubu for what he called her involvement in issues affecting Warri and Delta State.

The monarch questioned the First Lady’s participation in local affairs, arguing that her focus should be on national challenges that impact citizens across the country.

He also mentioned reports of insecurity in parts of the country, including kidnappings, and questioned the First Lady’s response to the suffering of affected families.

He stated, “Remi Tinubu has no place in the Office of the President. Her responsibility should be limited to her family. She should take care of her husband and children. She is sitting in Abuja instead of being in the kitchen taking care of her husband.”

“Children are being kidnapped in Osun State and the northern part of Nigeria. As a mother, she has no feelings. Is that the woman who calls herself a mother?” he added.

He expressed frustration over what he described as interference in Warri affairs, saying, “We’re not mincing words at this point; we’re tired of the nonsense from the Itsekiris.”
