Firm Leads National Payment Innovation at Digital Pay Expo

Nigeria’s sovereign domestic card scheme showcased Cowry terminal payment cards, virtual cards, a tokenisation engine, a loyalty platform, and a landmark partnership with the Bank of Agriculture at the country’s leading digital payments event.

AfriGO, the national domestic card scheme, made a prominent appearance at the Digital Pay Expo 2026 in Lagos.

During a keynote, Executive Director and Chief Commercial Officer of AfriGO, Mr. Ugo Obasi, spoke at length in a presentation titled “The AfriGO Journey: Driving Financial Inclusion Through Innovative Payment Solutions.”
