Fintiri pledges strong action against alleged same‑sex activities in Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has declared that his administration will take decisive action against what he says is an increase in same‑sex activities in Adamawa State.

Speaking during a visit to the northern town of Mubi, the governor emphasized that his government would not tolerate such conduct.

He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to upholding the state’s laws, cultural values and social norms.

Fintiri also said he would continue to promote standards and values that reflect the beliefs and traditions of Adamawa’s people while addressing social issues through lawful means.

He urged parents, as well as religious and traditional leaders, to intensify efforts in providing moral guidance and character development for young people.

According to Fintiri, protecting societal values requires the collective participation of all segments of society.
