The Federal Government has announced that it will advance to the next phase of its 2024/2025 paramilitary recruitment campaign. The upcoming phase will involve physical screening and document verification for candidates who have been shortlisted.
A statement issued by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd), notes that applicants who sat the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) in November 2025 must log in to the Board’s official recruitment portal between Monday, 15 June, and Saturday, 20 June 2026 to confirm their status.
Applicants are required to use the application number that was generated when they first registered.
The statement further explains that shortlisted candidates will need to upload their credentials and choose a date and venue for their physical screening. Candidates are urged to follow the instructions provided on the portal carefully.
The Board stresses that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and warns that no applicant should pay any fee to any individual, agent, group, or organization that claims to assist with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venues, or final selection.
It also advises the public to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons who claim to represent the Board. All official updates will be communicated exclusively through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
The statement concludes that the Board remains committed to conducting the exercise in a transparent, credible, and merit‑based manner, in accordance with the existing rules that govern recruitment processes.
