Felix Morka and Giadom rally in Rivers as APC holds representative primaries

Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary, and Victor Giadom, the party’s National Vice Chairman for the South‑South region, are in Rivers State to monitor the APC House of Representatives primaries.

They are joined by Rivers APC governorship candidate OK Chinda and by Kelechi Nwogu, a member of the House of Representatives from the Peoples Democratic Party.

All candidates in the primaries are supporters of Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.

Although most federal constituencies have reached consensus, the party has opted for direct primaries to select its candidates.

The decision follows the release of the final screened list of House of Representatives aspirants, which saw three candidates aligned with Governor Fubara disqualified and seven of Wike’s allies cleared.
