Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may return to the Premier League this summer.
According to the BBC, Solskjaer, who most recently coached Beşiktaş, is among the top contenders on the Ipswich Town shortlist to replace Kieran McKenna.
The 53‑year‑old was not brought back to Old Trafford last season, when the Red Devils chose Michael Carrick as permanent manager.
McKenna had worked with Solskjaer and Carrick on the United coaching staff from 2018 to 2021.
That team guided United to a runner‑up finish in the 2020‑21 season.
McKenna stayed at Old Trafford after Solskjaer’s dismissal, but left in December 2021 to take the Ipswich role.
