Emmanuel Eboue Suggests Arteta Bench Arsenal Star for PSG Match in UCL Final

Former Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboue has urged manager Mikel Arteta to keep right‑back Jurrien Timber on the bench for the Champions League final against Paris Saint‑Germain.

Timber’s most recent appearance for Arsenal was in March, in the victory over Everton.

The Dutchman is still recovering from a groin injury, but he could still be selected for Saturday’s match.

“Timber will want to play,” Eboue told Metro. “As a player, your dream is to play the Champions League final. But he hasn’t played for a long time. He has to wait a little bit. The PSG team, they’re so strong and so fast, so I think it’s better for Arteta to leave him on the bench.”
