El-Kanemi Warriors, the three‑time champions from Maiduguri, will face giant‑killers Ikorodu City in the men’s final of this year’s President Federation Cup.

At Benin City’s Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Nasarawa United suffered another misfortune, losing 2‑4 on penalties after a 1‑1 draw in regulation.

Five years earlier, Nasarawa United and Bayelsa United drew 2‑2 in that season’s final, with Bayelsa winning 5‑4 on penalties over the ‘Solid Miners’.

In Katsina, the 1991, 1992 and 2024 champions El‑Kanemi Warriors dominated Wikki Tourists 3‑1, securing their second final appearance in two years.

Thursday’s women’s competition will reach the quarter‑finals, with two matches scheduled at Benin City’s Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Sunshine Queens from Akure will face Confluence Queens of Lokoja at 1 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. clash between multi‑title holders Rivers Angels and FC Robo Queens.

In Aba, Heartland Queens of Owerri will play Ibom Angels from Uyo, while Nasarawa Amazons will contest the improved Edo Queens in Anyigba.
