Danjuma Confident Nasarawa Amazons Will Reach the President’s Federation Cup Final

Chris Danjuma, head coach of the Nasarawa Amazons, says he is confident his team will reach the final of the women’s President Federation Cup, according to Completesports.com.

The Lafia-based club will play Sunshine Queens in the semi-final of this year’s competition at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Wednesday.

In the quarter-final, Danjuma’s side beat the current NWFL champions, Edo Queens, 5‑3 on penalties.

Danjuma Targets Final Spot

The former Falconets coach believes his team has what it takes to secure a place in the final.

Danjuma urged his players to approach the match with seriousness, discipline, and the winning mentality that has carried them this far.

“We have worked hard to reach this stage, and now we must give everything on the pitch. Sunshine Queens are a strong side, but we believe in our quality and our ability to achieve our objective,” Danjuma told the club’s media.

“The players must remain focused and fight for every ball.”

FC Robo Queens and Heartland Queens will meet in the other semi-final.

The final will hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Saturday, 11 June.
