Chelsea finalize second summer transfer sale

Chelsea is on the brink of completing its second summer transfer after the recent sale of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid.

According to Standard Sport, West Brom is progressing in negotiations to acquire Chelsea striker Jimmy‑Jay Morgan on a permanent basis.

The Blues are seeking a fee between £1 million and £1.5 million for the England youth international, along with a substantial sell‑on clause, believing he could thrive in the English Championship.

The 20‑year‑old joined Stamford Bridge from Southampton for £3 million when he was 17, in February 2023.

Although Morgan has yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea, he has netted 21 goals in 46 matches for the club’s Under‑21 side.
