Brighton rules out loan exit for Yohanna

Zadok Yohanna will remain with Brighton & Hove Albion for the 2026/27 season, as the Premier League club has ruled out a loan move, Completesports.com reports.

Earlier speculation suggested Yohanna might depart on a temporary deal this summer, but Brighton are determined to keep the promising defender within the club to continue his development.

The 18‑year‑old joined the Seagulls from Swedish side AIK Stockholm in a transfer worth £21.5 million last month.

Brighton outbid Newcastle United and Chelsea to secure the talented youngster.

The winger scored five goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances for AIK.

According to Greek journalist Dimitris Manakos, Yohanna will be part of Brighton’s pre‑season preparations and is firmly included in the club’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

Brighton Boss Keen To Work With Yohanna

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has already expressed his eagerness to work with Yohanna, describing the youngster as a player who fits his long‑term plans for the club.

“I’m looking forward to working with Zadok,” Hurzeler told the club’s official website.

“Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third.”

“He’s still young, and will need time to adapt to the club and Premier League, but he’s an exciting player to watch and he brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy.”
