The House of Representatives on Tuesday summoned the service chiefs and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to appear before the parliament.
This move comes amid a surge in insecurity incidents across the country.
The resolution was adopted during Tuesday’s plenary after a motion sponsored by Sulaiman Gumi, the lawmaker for Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency in Zamfara state.
Daily Post reports that bandits and terrorists have been operating across the country, killing and abducting unsuspecting citizens.
There have been calls for President Bola Tinubu to dismiss the service chiefs in order to bring in more capable leadership.
