Barcelona to decide on Rashford after Anthony Gordon deal.

Barcelona has confirmed it will sign Marcus Rashford permanently from Manchester United after agreeing a £70 million deal for Newcastle United striker Anthony Gordon.

Gordon’s imminent arrival at the club has prompted questions about Rashford’s future at the Blaugrana following his successful loan spell.

According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona’s hierarchy still plans to negotiate a permanent transfer for Rashford this week, but they do not intend to bring him back on loan.

Rashford spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Barcelona from Man United.

The 28‑year‑old impressed under manager Hansi Flick, netting 14 goals and providing 10 assists during his loan.

Rashford has already expressed his desire to remain at the Nou Camp beyond this summer.
