Atalanta Weighs Moving Forward with Sanusi Transfer

Serie A side Atalanta is reportedly pursuing a transfer for FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi.

Transferfeed reports that Atalanta has already contacted Porto to discuss the Nigerian international’s contractual status.

Sanusi has one year remaining on his contract with the newly crowned Portuguese champions.

Porto is expected to seek a fee of around €7 million for the 28‑year‑old.

The club aims to bolster its defence following a disappointing campaign.

Sanusi moved to Porto from Santa Clara in 2020.
