Arsenal to sign Elijah Upson.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Elijah Upson after he chose to leave Tottenham Hotspur, The Athletic reports.

Upson has declined a professional contract and will depart Tottenham at the end of the month when his scholarship terms expire.

The 18‑year‑old centre‑back is the son of former Arsenal defender Matthew Upson.

Arsenal is among the clubs tracking the youngster, who is said to be attracting interest from several other teams.

The Premier League North London club aims to strengthen its academy squads this summer by bringing in young talent.

It remains uncertain whether Upson will join Arsenal this summer.

Upson has been part of the Tottenham Under‑18 side for the past two seasons.

He has played in Premier League 2, U18 Premier League, UEFA Youth League, FA Youth Cup and the EFL Trophy.
