APC to Launch National Campaign Council Ahead of Ekiti Governor Election Tomorrow

The All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that it will inaugurate its National Campaign Council for the upcoming Ekiti State governorship election on Wednesday in Abuja.

National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the council will be chaired by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, with Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, serving as Co‑Chairman, and Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele as Secretary.

Morka explained that the council will include serving and former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other prominent party leaders who will coordinate and drive the APC’s campaign activities ahead of the Ekiti governorship election.

He added that to ensure effective planning and coordination, several subcommittees have been established to lead the party’s efforts in key areas.

These subcommittees cover Election Planning and Management; Finance and Resource Mobilisation; Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation; Logistics and Campaign Management; Protocol; Media and Publicity; Security; Women’s Mobilisation; Youth Mobilisation; and Secretariat Functions.

Morka said the inauguration is a crucial step in launching mobilisation across Ekiti in pursuit of a successful outcome in the forthcoming governorship election.
