Amaechi Wins Bayelsa APC Presidential Primary Over Atiku and Hayatu‑Deen

Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi won the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary in Bayelsa State, defeating former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Hayatu‑Deen Muhammed.

Amaechi received 44,404 votes, while Atiku came in second with 6,570 votes and Hayatu‑Deen polled 939 votes.

The primary was held across the state as candidates vied for the party’s presidential nomination ahead of the upcoming general election.
