2027: They are not your Messiah – Wike warns Nigerians against ADC, NDC

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, warned that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) are not the saviors Nigerians need, claiming that they are deceiving citizens.

Wike said the ADC failed to hold a transparent primary election that would have been accepted by all presidential aspirants.

During his monthly media chat, the Minister recalled how ADC leaders had tried to whitewash the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), yet did not ensure transparency during their own Congress.

He stated, “NDC, as small as it is, cannot conduct a primary without protests. Look at ADC, which claims its coalition is ready to take over the democratic structure. What happened? During its primary, the two presidential aspirants said they could not accept the process.”

“We have been accusing different parties of wrongdoing, and now see what we have done. That shows who is deceiving whom,” he added.

“Those who come to Nigerians and claim they are the Messiah are liars; they cannot deceive us,” Wike said.

He continued, “They have agreed that the PDP is a dead party, the APC is rotten, but ordinary Congresses cannot be conducted. They have three presidential aspirants, two of whom said this is nonsense, a criminality of the highest order.”
